The earth does some spectacular work! Look how busy she is in this picture of a volcanic eruption. Fire smoke and ash filling the sky with lightning which, come to find out happens quite often with an eruption. Has to do with cool tempertures and hot ash. With what would be a clear sky if not for the ash it even has a shooting star. GREAT!! Oh sure Mother Nature can kill You without thinking twice about it but it is a magnificent sight don't You think? Actually the earth has been really active lately what with an earthquake in Japan and the ring of fire really rocking and rolling lately as well and another volcanic eruption in Russia recently that story here at this link.
