Saluting some local heroes in the order that I found out about them. The remains of Shenandoah County Fair grounds' stables are pictured here after Thursday's fire courtesy of The Northern Virginia Daily. The first of our heroes I would like to salute the gentleman who was not named but was the first to see the fire. He risked personal injury went to the blaze to rescued his horse and called in the fire. Unfortunately he was not able to rescue the two dogs but may not have even known about those.
