Last but certainly not least Chris Ritnour took matters into his own hands and helped countless others in what could have been an even worse situation. Chris heard the first crash of a bad accident in yesterday's Winchester snow squall. In limited visibility Chris jumped a fence and ran against traffic to warn on coming drivers to stop. Chris reminds us of what we all try to say even if the speed limit reads 60 when it's snowing we all need to slow down and drive with the conditions in mind. Here is that story from TV3 Winchester at this link. I would like to thank all three of these heroes for stepping up and doing an outstanding job in a clutch situation! Of course we are always Thankful for all the Volunteers who give of themselves in Fire and Rescue squads all over the valley! You folks are a special breed and we Thank You for what You do.
