Rain through Saturday Thursday, the threat shifts to the East as the cold front and attendant upper-level dip in the jet stream sweep in. Damaging straight-line winds, large hail and a few tornadoes are possible in the Mid-Atlantic States, including Philadelphia,Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. Damaging straight-line winds and heavy rainfall are the main threats farther south Thursday from the southern Appalachians and Tennessee Valley to southern Virginia and the Carolinas.

Anybody remember these guys? They were the band back in the day playing the Raymond E. Santmyers Youth Center, Warren County and Handley High School and an Elks lodge or two the 11th Frame and more. We are all lucky we made it out alive! Flash pots with gunpowder and who was it that caught fire because he hit the flash pot after trying to warn us the cops were coming. These guys have played with Shooze (later Kix) and Peacemaker Hott Roxx was in the mix somewhere. In the band was Jerry Kenney,Lenny Barnhart, Curtis and Calvin Utz with Rick Wines. If You guys ever get the band back together I am there!! I can only give You like $1.50 for a ticket through.....This pic is circa 1978 the bell bottoms tell us that....WOW What a blast...Thanks Jerry..  

Old Town Winchester was Packed! The brews were flowing the bands were playing and it looks like everyone was having a real good time. Many thanks to all of You for making the first Hop Blossom a massive success! Let's do it again! (maybe in the fall)...Have a look at this link at some pics....
