Whoa...well, I was kinda bummed out when they brought this dude into the fold to replace Vince Neil, but now I feel pretty guilty about wanting Vince back.

Former Motley Crue singer John Corabi told a concert audience how his firing from the band led him to consider suicide.

Corabi was an acoustic tour and told fans at a London concert that when he went to what he believed was a Crue recording session he was informed by the band, "We love you. But unfortunately the record company are not going to support this version of the band. We have to let you go because we're bringing Vince Neil back. I went out and I got into the brand new sports car I had just bought, like, four weeks before," he continued. "I opened up the glove box, I pulled the gun out, and I stuck it in my mouth. But I didn't load it – so that was okay."

Here's "Crabby" with the Crue from their self-titled 1994 disc

I hope he's still OK, because Crue bassist Nikki Sixx shared some news over the weekend about what he's been up to lately… he told fans, "I've personally been writing my a** off for months now. Mick Mars told me he has so many riffs ready to go too. Feeling really inspired to follow it up with the rest of the songs from the band too... "

The Crue’s first new song in four years, “Sex,”  was released just prior to the launch of their tour with KISS this past summer.
